With the launch of our Dressing Suite Collection, there have been many requests for standardized measurements associated with this area of the home. Most of us have had to practice and experience the standardized specifications for the kitchen and bath; however, the closet area can present some new and different design hurdles. Following are a few helpful tips.

Other Measurements
- Allow 1" - 3" space between hanging blouses and shirts to reduce wrinkling.
- Allow 2" - 4" space between hanging suits and dresses to reduce wrinkling.
- Allow 12" - 15" width for folded sweaters.
- Allow 9" - 12" width for folded shirts.
- Allow 9" - 12" width for each pair of stored men’s shoes.
- Allow 6" - 9" width for each pair of stored women’s shoes.
