P27 Framed Cabinet-Construction Description
Framed cabinets should have a 3/4-inch solid wood face frame. The doors are attached to the cabinet face frame with hinges.

  • Dovetail construction - strongest, most durable method to craft drawers.
  • Our 5/8-inch solid hardwood dovetail drawer box comes standard with full extension undermount soft close drawer slides.
  • Base cabinets with full-depth adjustable shelves or pullout shelves have 25% more storage space.
  • Semi-custom and You Draw It options available

Materials

  • Wellborn cabinetry is constructed of the wood species: Oak, Maple, Hickory, and Cherry.
  • Additional wood species are Character Maple and Character Cherry for a rustic look for your cabinetry.
  • Wellcore MDF also known as Medium Density Fiberboard cabinetry is available in painted finishes
  • Medium Density Fiberboard is less likely to sustain water damage.
  • Aspire cabinetry is available in Matte, High Gloss, Embossed Melamine, Heavy Textured Melamine, and Decorative Laminate Veneers.
  • Decorative Laminate Veneers have an MDF particle core and a laminate cover later, the joining of these materials creates a strong cabinet material.
